Adobe Acrobat reader のインストール

はじめに

debian のパッケージには Adobe Acrobat reader がある. しかし, 日本語フォントがないため, 日本語で書かれた文章が読めないことがある. 日本語フォントを Adobe から持ってきて Acrobat reader をインストールする.

準備

以下のパッケージを用意する. jpnfont.tar.gz は http 経由でダウンロードを試みたができなかったので ftp でダウンロードする.

acroread(debian パッケージ. apt 等でインストールする)
jpnfont.tar.gz

インストール

acroread のインストール

# apt-get install acroread

jpfont.tar.gz のインストール

ダウンロードしたファイルを展開する. JPNKIT というディレクトリが作成される. インストールスクリプト INSTALL があるのでそれを実行する.

# tar xfvz jpfont.tar.gz
# cd JPNKIT
# ./INSTALL

以下のように質問が繰り返される. 適宜質問に答える(答えた内容は色を変えた)
