log の設定

各種 log を3ヵ月保存するように設定する.

rsyslog について

  • rsyslog はデフォルトで入っている．
  • rsyslog の設定ファイルは,/etc/rsyslog.conf, 個別の設定は/etc/rsyslog.d/~ にある．
    特に，手動設定しなければならない，ところはなかったはず...なので，そのままで構わない．
    一応，今回のrsyslog.conf の中身を表示しておく．

    logrotate について

  • 今回は，rsyslog をlogrotate を用いてまわし，log の保存期間を指定する．
  • logrotate の設定ファイルは，/etc/logrotate.conf と/etc/logrotate.d/~ にある． 今回は，rsyslog で回される log の保存期間を変更させるだけなので，手直しが必要なファイルは，/etc/logrotate.d/rsyslog である．
